Synopsis: “Deliver Me from Nowhere,” directed by Scott Cooper, is based on the 2023 book by Warren Zanes and stars Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen. The film begins in the late 1970s, following Springsteen’s rise to fame after the success of his album “The River.” However, as he grapples with the pressures of stardom and unresolved issues from his past, particularly with his father, he retreats to a rented house in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Here, he seeks to create a more personal and intimate collection of songs, leading to the recording of “Nebraska” on a simple four-track recorder in his bedroom.
